Horse racing, show jumping executed in watercolor with gouache highlights by the English painter Denis Aldridge born in Syston in Leicestershire in 1891. He studied at Bilton Grange, near Rugby then at Arrow. Considered a promising student at art school, Denis Aldridge is fond of horses, which he depicts in various postures and activities.
