"Moroccan Kaftan In Black Satin Brocaded With Golden Blades - Circa 1950-60"
Circa 1950-1960 Morocco Beautiful Moroccan ceremonial Kaftan in black satin brocaded with golden blades with a design of chrysanthemum flowers. Ample coat with bell buttons embroidered with the Jewish star and pale pink and black floche silk trimmings with a zig-zag design around the edge. The lampas, with a heavy and fluid fall favoring movement, is of Moroccan production. Very beautiful white cotton lining lined with black nylon taffeta. Note a small tear on the black band behind the coat, otherwise very good and clean condition. Dimensions: "One size" for slim women or men. Shoulders 38 cm, sleeves 55 cm, coat height 129 cm, chest 90-95 cm, waist and bottom 114 cm.
