Circa 1870-1880 France Beautiful silk lampas with large cherry and gold yellow decoration in the style of designer Arthur Martin. A presentation length complete with selvedges with a cherry satin background and flowers with a golden yellow twill background. The Second Empire design is inspired by a large 18th century French decoration with large flowers framed by stylized lace ribbons. Wallpaper glued at both ends and trace of label. Never used. Exceptional state of color and preservation. Dimensions: 150cm x 55cm.
