These needlework tapestries offer a charming display through a vibrant array of colors and motifs inspired by nature. Numerous plants unfold and repeat endlessly: flowering stems, floral scrolls, foliage, and bunches of grapes pecked at by birds. Antique-style vases from which bouquets of flowers stand are also featured. The decorative qualities of these tapestries are evident in the composition, which skillfully blends rounded shapes and lines, in the fresh colors, and in the interplay of contrasts (each motif is outlined with a dark line).
