Large Panel In Moiré Faille Printed On Chain With Large Decor - France Circa 1880-1900
Circa 1880-1900 France A spectacular hanging, 143 cm wide, of a moiré fault and printed on chain bearing a label from a Lyon factory (Possibly Tassinari & Chatel). Printing on chain, ancestor of the Chiné à labranche, with large decoration inspired by the 18th century, which must have been produced for a prestigious order. Drawing ordered with Medici vases, storks and large bouquets wrapped with flowers and ears of wheat. A full width 477 cm high, the head and tail of which have small repairs, otherwise the rest is in very good condition. Good general condition. Dimensions: 477 cm high by 143 cm wide.
