Pair Of Regency Candlesticks In Chased And Gilded Bronze XVIIIth Century
Very nice pair of Louis XIV Regency style candlesticks in gilt bronze. Fine bronze carving on a fretted base with acanthus leaves, interlacing, shells and gadroons typical of the Regency. The gilding is of good quality with a good depth of material, it seems in ormolu. Assembly in 3 shells welded afterwards and a thick thread between the barrel and the base. Period late 18th century. Delivery 18 euros in France, 35 euros in the EU and 60 euros rest of the world.
