Napoleon III Clock In Bleu De Sèvres Porcelain And Gilt Bronze, 19th Century
Lovely Napoleon III style clock in Sèvres blue porcelain and gilded bronze. Very rich ornamentation in gilded bronze with cherubs on a base with a garland of flowers. The body of the clock flanked by lion's muzzles. At the top, a fretel bouquet of roses with doves. It must certainly have been a wedding clock. The Paris movement is signed Barbaste and Marti and dated 1875. It will need to be serviced because it works for a few seconds then stops. We have the matching candlesticks for sale in our gallery to make a trim set, see last photo. Period 1875. Delivery 80 euros in France, 150 euros in the EU and 300 euros rest of the world.
