Circular High Relief, Animal Bronze, Chimpanzee Taking A Bath, 19th Century

Very interesting circular high relief, representing a chimpanzee surprised during his bath with a smiling mouth. The head and the knees come out of the water, the paws resting on them. Curious item, was silvered. All it needs is a nice frame!
Excellent condition, no break, no flaw, to be cleaned.
European working, probably French, dating from the second part of the 19th century, or beginning of 1900 period.
Dimensions: Diameter 9cm. About 3.5cm Height.
