Middle Table In "boulle" Marquetry Red Tortoiseshell And Brass
Fiddle-shaped center table in "Boule" marquetry of tortoiseshell (red) and brass. It opens with a curved drawer on the front. It rests on 4 arched feet in tortoiseshell and brass enriched with Espagnolettes, falls and lion's paw hooves in gilded bronze. The belt, strongly curved, is decorated with large mascarons and friezes in gilded bronze forming reserved inside Which we find the marquetry "Boule". The drawer closes with key, its mascaron forming keyhole. The tray surrounded by a gilt bronze ingot mold is entirely inlaid with tortoiseshell and brass. A 3 cm wide ebony veneer path separates the marquetry panel from La lingotière. Very good used condition!
