ISLAMIC ART-OTTOMAN ART-TRADITIONAL COPPER BROWNWARE OTTOMAN TURKEY SECOND HALF OF THE XIXTH CENTURY Large Ottoman ceremonial tray with 14 embossed red copper gadroons, with floral and vegetal decoration of windings in gadrooned cartouches. The whole surrounding a central motif of a stylized star flower; a geometric frieze delimits this central motif. The edge of the decorative plate is hemmed with incisions at regular intervals. Old traces of pewter feet, not original, on the back of the piece. Beautiful patina of use. Very good condition (see descriptive photos). Weight: 2.6 kg.
