TRIBAL ARTS AFRICAN ART TRIBAL ARTSCULPTURECENTRAL AFRICALARGE BLACK BIRD MASK1ST HALF OF THE 20TH CENTURYLarge African mask with a black bird, in patinated/tinted carved wood.The black headdress is topped with a black bird, too.The nose, eyes and eyebrow arches are also highlighted in black.The mouth with visible teeth is prominent.The forehead and headdress are domed.The eyes are very almond-shaped, the face very elongated, the nose flattened and the ears, small, are integrated into the headdress.Holes for hanging on each side.Beautiful patina of use.Good condition, used condition (traces, marks... see descriptive photos).
