TCHAPAN/KHALAT VEST
Traditional Tchapan/khalat vest (traditional coat), Turkmen Tekke or Uzbek.
It features silk embroidery on cotton, with silk on the back, and an inner lining with very colorful and fresh floral prints.
The black, yellow, white, and red silk embroidery across the entire front depicts stylized plants.
The drawstrings on both sides are made of braided cotton and silk threads and colored glass beads.
A beautiful example of traditional embroidery.
Very good condition (a slight snag on one of the drawstring eyelets; see descriptive photos).
