Jewelry Box With Secrets In Marquetry Style Boulle
Jewelry box including several secrets walnut carved inlaid with a fine marquetry all faces in tortoiseshell and tin decorated with foliated scrolls. The top is also inlaid with a fine marquetry of the same design and opens thanks to a sliding system, revealing a small compartment. Inside the compartment, a pressure on the lid allows it to slide and access the lock that opens the box where there is a small box and two hidden drawers on the left. In the lower part, the facade conceals three drawers accessible by removing a wooden pull-tab. Box resting on 4 worked legs. 17th century.
