Aldo Tura, Parchment-wrapped Bar Cabinet

Bar cabinet sheathed in varnished parchment with screen-printed decoration of a polychrome composition of musical instruments by Silvio Testi, (signed on the edge of a book in the decoration). The instruments represented are a spinet, wrestles and violin. Black lacquered quadripod base mounted at an angle, gilded metal clogs, mobile oval top with glass bottom bordered by a gilded brass gallery, opening onto an interior made of mirrored slats and fitted with two shelves. Automatic interior lighting system by opening the door. Ornate golden brass hinges. Good general condition, to report swings of varnish in several places, see photos.
