Eglon Van Der Neer Dutch School 17th Stage Interior

Artist: Eglon Van Der Neer (entourage De)
Oil on panel, Dutch school late 17th-early 18th century, unsigned, she is from the entourage of Eglon Van der Neer (Amsterdam around 1634- Düsseldorf 1703). Represents an interior scene, perhaps in a brothel, with the central subject a richly dressed woman washing her hands. Presented in the state, note a small vertical slot in the upper right. She deserves to be cleaned. Panel size: 46.5 x 39.8 cm. Golden wand frame in medium condition (some gilding changes brushed) of the 19th.
