Candleholder - Brass Torch - XVI Th Century

TORCH in brass of the "Low bell" type, with baluster binet and bell foot.
Height: 15.5cm.
EUROPE, Second half of the 16th century

This type of Middle Eastern-inspired torch probably entered Italy via Venice and was widely adopted in much of Europe.
