Portrait of the favorite dog by Louis Robert Heyrault (French side, active 1840-1880) Portrait of a fovorite dog was executed in 1859 by Louis Robert Heyrault (active 1840-1880), French painter of animals, genre, horses and portraits. He was born and lived in Paris, studied by Delaroche and Picot. In 1857-1880, he exhibited his works (especially dog portraits and hunting scenes) at the Salon de Paris exhibitions.
