It was created by the artist during her life in Odessa ( in those time Russian Empire) , before she moved to Munich. Stephanie von Strechine (Russian: Стефания Стрехина) was a Ukrainian landscape painter. She studied at the Historical Academy in Munich under the Austrian artist Ludwig Willroider (1845-1910) and continued to work in the city after 1881, exhibiting her works at the famous Glaspalast (Glass Palace). At that time, Munich was a center of artistic activity and particularly attracted female artists thanks to its Women's Academy founded at the end of the 19th century.Exhibitions: Bad Tölz Municipal Museum, retrospective exhibition in 2000;
