Bonheur du jour in Louis XV style in rosewood - mahogany back - with inlaid decoration of rosewood lozenges surrounded by lemon tree fillets. It rests on 4 thin and curved legs. Its top is surrounded by a brass gallery and it is decorated with many bronzes: moldings, falls, keyhole and clogs. The flap, sheathed in gold-coloured leather (changed) reveals a rosewood interior composed of a locker, 3 drawers and a compartment under the drawers. Period: Late 19th century. Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and varnished finish. Lock and key in working order.
