Imposing System Secretary, Stamped Pierre ROUSSEL, Received Master In 1745, TRANSITION Period. With His Certificate of Expertise, which will be given to the Buyer. It is shaped like Doucine in its upper part, in various wood veneers. This Secretaire opens in its Lower Part with Two Doors in Violet Wood veneer, decorated with a Geometric Movement Frieze, in Boxwood Net and Satin. The Lower Traverse is fretted. The Façade Uprights are with Canted Sides, rounded at their ends and ending at the Base with Arched Feet trimmed with a foliated Bronze Sabot. A Large Curved Movement Flap in its Upper Part surmounts the 2 Doors and takes up the same theme of Marquetry Decor. Open, we discover the Secretary Part consisting of a Central Secret Niche .., Small Drawers on Each Side and Stacked Lockers. A Large "Secret" Drawer in its Upper Part opens by activating Pushers hidden in the Uprights on each side. The sides are also decorated with Geometric Movement Marquetry. A Small Side Drawer in the Upper Part, on the Left Side which closes with a Key. It is topped with a Red Marble From Languedoc to Bec de Corbin. It measures 169 cm in height, 109 cm in width and 43.5 cm in depth. It is in very good condition .
