Louis XV chest of drawers, curved on all sides, opening on the front with two drawers without crosspieces. It is in Violet Wood Marquetry in a large central reserve, surrounded by Arabesques in Amaranth veneer marquetry. It is topped with its original Red Marble with Corbin Beak. Very rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes. It stands on feet shod with gilded bronze clogs. It is stamped MIGEON and JME (Jurande des Maîtres Ebénistes). It measures 83 CM in length, 45 CM in depth and 82 CM in height. MIGEON Pierre V (III) Pierre V Migeon (1733 - August 21, 1775) Son of Pierre Migeon IV (II), born in 1733. Received his Master's degree on June 18, 1761. He kept his father's workshop and store on rue de Charenton. Several Transition and Louis XVI pieces of furniture bear his stamp.
