Louis XV Commode Stamped Thibault, 18th Century

An elegant Louis XV commode, curved on all sides, stamped C. THIBAULT, dating from the 18th century. The front features five drawers in three rows. It has a secret drawer between the two smaller drawers, located under the frieze. Some of the bronze mounts bear the crowned C, dating the commode between 1745 and 1749. All the bronze mounts are original, with superb bronze moldings in the corners. It has very attractive gilt bronze drawer pulls. The top is a red Royal marble slab with a corbelled edge. The commode is stamped twice on the front uprights. It is in very good condition. It measures 98 cm in length, 53 cm in depth, and 89 cm in height.
