Nîmoise Chest Of Drawers Curved All Sides In Walnut Early 18th
Superb Nîmoise chest of drawers in Walnut. Facade and sides strongly curved and richly carved with acanthus and rococo motifs. The front cross member is perforated, with an asymmetry typical of the 1st part of the 18th century, and the side rails are also perforated. It opens with two large drawers which have their original handles and keyholes and which are also richly carved with acanthus leaves and moldings. The sides are double Rocaille paneling. Original Languedoc Red Breccia marble top. It rests on four snail feet. Very good general condition. Few restorations, to report an almost invisible one on a foot.
