Rare model chest of drawers in marquetry from the Transition period between Louis XV and Louis XVI of the 18th century. This chest of drawers features a marquetry in violet wood and rosewood with its front with a central projection. Geometric decoration inlaid in reserve with fillet. It opens with five drawers without crosspieces on three rows. It is topped with its period marble, gray, red and white veined. Uprights with simulated fluting. Bronze ornamentation on the corners, each drawer is equipped with locks and pull handles with rings festooned with original chiseled mascarons. Rests on four curved feet with small bronze sabots on the front. Elegant chest of drawers in good general condition.
