Kidney-shaped Drum Table, 19th Century
Kidney-shaped drum table in rosewood veneer surrounded by ebony and lemonwood fillets in rosewood frames. It opens on the front with 2 drawers and small curved doors on each side. It rests on 4 marquetry sheathed legs, fitted with gilt bronze clogs. It is topped with marble surrounded by an openwork gilt bronze gallery. It measures 76 cm in length, 35 cm in width and 71.5 cm in height. Very nice table or occasional furniture.
