Large Regency Period Commode, called "à la Cressent" in Amaranth Veneer Marquetry with vertical grain that is sometimes found in Cressent productions, from the 18th Century. It opens on the front with 5 Drawers on 2 Rows without Crossbar. On Our Commode, We recognize the typical Cressent Bronze decorations, the Shape of Its 4 Feet, of Deer, with a Frame predominantly of Resinous, its large Dimension.. Very Rich Bronze Ornamentation, entirely regilded with ground Gold. Its original Marble is a Violet Breccia with a Corbin Beak all around. It measures 134 CM in Length, 52 CM in Depth and 82 CM in Height. Varnished around Stamp in the Rules of Art. It is in Very Good condition.
