This Venetian-style jam is in translucent and colorless glass, it is blown in a gadroon mold, it rests on a small attached pedestal and the edge is adorned with threads, the button is spiral-shaped. This compote or jam was produced in the Orleans region during the first half of the 18th century. In perfect condition, this glassware is as much an art object as it is a moving testimony of the past. Equivalent copies are kept in different museums, National Museum of Ceramics Sèvres, Museum of Decorative Arts of Lyon, Museum of Le Havre. Dimensions: diameter 16 cm, height 10 cm
