Pair Of Large Louis XV Walnut Armchairs Stamped
Pair of large Louis XV style cabriolet armchairs in walnut, France, Rhône Valley Region, 19th century, stamped "BACHET" covered with needle point tapestry in correct used condition (a small hole to note) Pretty fat sculpture, enveloping shape and walnut color reminiscent of the NOGARET productions from which these armchairs are directly inspired. They were made by a certain cabinet-maker Bachet, unknown, who surely worked in the Lyon Region. Very comfortable seats totally 18th century in their execution.
