A rare and precious Art Nouveau/Art Deco period light fixture signed GALLE (Emile Gallé, 1846-1904), featuring a large hemispherical bowl in multi-layered pâte de verre, acid-etched in cameo style and decorated with cactus flowers, mounted in gilt bronze with a patinated acanthus leaf motif. Very good overall condition. Dimensions: 90 cm high (adjustable chain) x 42 cm in diameter.
