Half Moon Mahogany Commode, Louis XVI Period, Eighteenth Century
Beautiful Provenance for this Elegant Commode Louis XVI Period, Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer, Half-Moon Shape, resting on four tapered legs ending in Gilt Bronze Rings. It opens on the front with three drawers with their original locks which close with a key, and leaves on each side which also close with their own key. It is topped with an original gray-veined white Carrara marble and in very good condition. It measures 1.33 m in length, 43 cm in depth and 87 cm in height. Provenance of a Château In Brittany. It is in very good condition. The varnish has been revived by a Professional.
