- Large polychrome Blois faience dish from the manufacture of Émile Balon (1859-1929) representing a swan pierced by an arrow and a crown surmounted by two olive branches on a navy blue and pale yellow background. - The pierced swan is the emblem of Louise of Savoy (1476-1531), mother of François 1st but also emblem of Claude of France (1499-1524), daughter of Anne of Brittany and Louis XIII and wife of François 1er . - In heraldry, the swan symbolizes loneliness, and the arrow symbolizes love. - The plate is dated 1902 on the back and bears the stamp of the factory of Émile Balon.
