In the quality of Vienna bronzes, but entirely chiseled and gilt, this beautiful inkwell of nearly one kilo nestles in a roll of carpet, frantically attacked by 3 young puppies, who seek to unroll it and give it to their hearts -joy. At least it's not a sad and solemn inkwell!
Very good quality, intact gilding (except the inside of the cover: verdigris), it is a beautiful collector's item, unsigned French work, Napoleon III period. Dimensions: 18cm x 14cm x 7cm.
