Very Small Openwork Stove, For Wax Seals? 19th Century
Pretty tiny stove with a long ebony handle, metal or silver without visible hallmark, three foot-buttresses cut out with finials, heating body at bottom and nicely perforated walls, lower ashtray, the size of a doll's object.
According to some colleagues, it would be a charcoal stove to soften the wax blocks....
Dimensions: 5 cm x 5cm. Inner diameter: 3.2cm, gross weight: 37gr.
Condition: one weld or 2 that is not original.
