églomisé Portrait-silhouette Of A Young Man, 1st Empire Period

Artist: Art Populaire
Beautiful portrait under glass, it would be that of Carl Brüger in February 1810, (after an inscription in pencil on the back of the parquet floor) a silhouette portrait standing out in black against a background of gold and silver leaf under the glass , the design is done with a drypoint and is maintained by a second coat.
Probably Rhenish work, very early 19th century.
Dimensions: 20cm x 15cm.
Good condition, except for small stains in the decor.
Take a good look at the photos ....
