For a portrait of Joséphine de Beauharnais (by Prud'hon or Baron Gérard) or that of an anonymous officer covered with the glory of conquests and died prematurely, this frame will resonate the little music of the Empire and its glorious times or tragic. Its frieze of palmettes short in the throat, followed by a listel and a row of pearls. Its pretty "lemon" gilding (the gildings do not have all the same color in each period) brings out the spandrels enhanced with palmettes angles. A frieze of raises of heart awaits its future guest wisely ... the Galerie des Cadres offers on request many formats in this period; just tell us the dimensions. The prices include a perfect restoration because the frames offered have not yet passed through the workshop. No defect is therefore hidden.
