Louis-philippe Gold-plated And Gray Fireplace Mirror
The Louis-Philippe style originated between 1830 and 1848, during the monarch’s reign; however, this style persisted until ...1920, with its design evolving over time to incorporate the details in vogue at each period: featuring plant-motif backgrounds and ribbed patterns around 1900, and Cubist-style moldings around 1930; Production peaked between 1860 and 1890 to meet the demand driven by the urban renewal drive spearheaded by Baron Haussmann and Napoleon III, which spread to all the country’s major cities. This incredible heritage continues to inspire contemporary interior design. This mirror, reimagined in shades of gold and gray, will fit perfectly into either a contemporary or classic decor. Having been restored in our workshop, it is in impeccable condition.
