Pair of Nanjing Chinese porcelain vases, beige carved background with polychrome enamelled decoration of many Asian characters, warriors and riders in the heart of a battle, top of the belly and lateral grips on chess patterned necks, fantastic animals, lizards, dragons and lions, signed below, with their wooden pedestals, vintage early twentieth century. These vases are in good condition. They are signed below. A note: some defects and tiny lack of enamelling on the decorations, slight wear on the catches, some égrenures on the neck of a vase, wear of time, see photos.
