Pair Sculptures Couple English Mastiff Dogs Terracotta XIXth Century

Rare terracotta sculptures, representing a couple of dogs, mastiffs (certainly English), sulfide eyes, monogram LL under the elongated female, work in the spirit of the famous Goldscheider factory, vintage late nineteenth century. These sculptures are in good condition. The elongated dog is monogrammed below. They are life size. A note: slight wear and traces on the terracotta, some scratches on the sulfide (especially the eyes of the seated male), the legs of the male have been drilled (surely to fix it), slight wear of time, see photos.
