Italian carved and polychrome lacquered wooden box. Late 17th/early 18th century. It rests on four feet carved in the form of lion's paws. The carvings feature lion's head motifs, women's busts, shells, scrolls, and small flowers. Painted and lacquered with polychrome floral decorations on a green background.
