Charles X Pendulum Gilt Bronze
Large clock early nineteenth bronze finely chiseled and gilded, work of Romanesque style Charles X period around 1820-30 depicting a young woman in the taste of the Duchess of Barry languid on a sofa shaped meridian decorated with trimmings, the lower part is animated by rich foliage foliage in high relief resting on sinuous feet punctuated in the center by a shell with radiant pattern. The dial guilloche and silver facade is part of the decor, it is equipped with its original movement suspension complete wire and in working condition once reassembled with its key but provide a revision because missing the pendulum. Dimensions: 45 cm high X 37 cm wide.
