Louis XV Gilt Bronze Cartel
Louis XV period wall lamp in gilded and chiselled bronze, gilded with mercury of origin, it is adorned with volutes, flowers and foliage, the white enamel dial signed CARON indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in figures Arabic, the needles are superbly openwork and chiseled. The wire movement has been changed, with its time wheel not located between the barrels, the flat-head screws, the leaf spring acting on the trigger fixed on the front plate and not back, it is a model located between 1810 and 1860, so it is later than the case, it was revised by a watchmaker and works perfectly.
