18th-century Walnut Chest Of Drawers.
Thissolid walnut chest of drawers, in the Louis XV style, features acrossbow-shaped front. It opens to reveal three large drawers, each consisting ofthree compartments framed by a sinuous,scalloped, and adorned with small volutes at the corners. Thedrawers are fitted with beautiful, drooping bronze handles.The lower rail is scalloped and edged with a finemolding; it rests on four curved legs with volutes. Theoverhanging top follows the profile of the front.
Period: 18th century (likely from the Rhône Valley).
