Parisian Wooden Chest Of Drawers (18th Century)
Parisian wooden commode (18th century). Small Parisian commode, positioned between two rooms, opening with four drawers decorated with gilt bronze mounts. Model known as the Île-de-France style, circa 1740, in walnut. Stamped Jean Girardeau, received as a master in 1738, established on Rue St Nicolas in Paris. In used condition. Viewable at the Galerie Courcelles Antiquités, 97 rue de Courcelles, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
