Antique vase made of white and translucent overlay crystal, with polychrome enamel and gold decoration.
Baluster-style vase dating from the mid-19th century.
Crafted using the “overlay” crystal technique, the vase features a layer of opaque white glass cut with translucent openings in the shape of ogives and medallions.
The body is entirely decorated with a hand-painted polychrome floral composition, featuring roses, chrysanthemums, and mauve and white flowers, accompanied by foliage in shades of green and turquoise.
A mid-19th-century piece, in the style of French and Bohemian productions of that period.
