Alcool Des Montagnes, 1772, Blown And Engraved Bottle, Swiss Alps

Dimensions: 26 × 11 × 8.5 cm. Weight: 0.9 kg.
Beautiful mold-blown forest-green glass bottle, probably given as a wedding gift.
Rectangular in shape with a tapered neck, it features a pewter screw cap that ensures a tight seal.
All four sides are engraved.
The front bears a celebratory inscription: VIVAT, along with four initials—IK and IP—and the date 1772, likely year of wedding.
In the Alpine regions of Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, this type of bottle was traditionally used for liqueurs and homemade spirits: genever, sloe brandy, or schnapps.
A beautiful decorative object of a good size.
Good condition, with no visible flaws.
