17th-century Spanish Portable Cabinet
A walnut and stained-wood cabinet featuring six drawers faced with red tortoiseshell veneer, accented by molded ebonized wood framing.
It is elegantly embellished with light-wood interlaced stringing and escutcheons featuring a double-lion motif.
The sides are fitted with carrying handles, and the locks are all original to the piece.
