A Vienna cold-painted bronze candle holder depicting a Black dandy seated on a chair with his legs crossed, wearing a top hat, brown jacket, red bow tie and cream trousers.

He holds an open book in one hand and a second top hat in the other, its opening serving as the candle holder. A characterful figure described as a “Southern Gentleman”.

Height – 12.2 cm.

Condition – Some surface wear commensurate with age.
