Victor Saglier – Art Nouveau Cookie Jar Made Of Frosted Glass With Gold Accents
An elegant antique cookie jar by Victor Saglier, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, around 1900. Crafted from frosted glass, it features a delicate gilded floral design composed of finely drawn flowers and foliage, in the Art Nouveau style.
The combination of frosted glass, gilded motifs, and a metal frame lends this piece great charm and elegance, characteristics of the decorative arts of the Belle Époque.
Height: 17.5 cm (excluding the handle).
In good overall condition, with some signs of use and wear on the silver plating due to its age. There are a few small patina spots on the lid, which do not affect the overall appearance of the object.
