Pair of salt cellars in the shape of a bucket vase, blown crystal and painted with grisaille landscapes representing river landscapes ´ on one of them is a fisherman in his boat. The edges are decorated with gold thread. The brothers Auguste and Antonin Daum created the Compagnie française du cristal in 1878 in Nancy, Lorraine. Around 1890 the family business perfected its acid decoration and wheel engraving. Salt cellar H: 3.5 cm unsigned Very good condition some wear to the gilding on the back
