Servingdish, vegetable bowl in solid silver from the Art Deco period by thesilversmiths Tétard Frères (Henry, Jacques, and Georges).
Circularin shape, with a plain body and a base curved inward;its geometric handlesmade of Macassar wood provide a warm and elegant contrastto the brilliance of the silver.
Probablydesigned by Jean Tétard (son of Henri), famous forcombining silver with precious woods.
Jean joined hisfather and uncles around 1930 at the Tétard Frères company. The firm was founded in 1903 following the death of their father, Edmond Tétard, in 1901.
